Installation

Broadcasts from the International Idleness Union* is a spatial installation conceived as a speculative radio broadcast and a room for rest. The work weaves together recordings, quotes and paraphrases drawn from public talks, published works, and archival broadcasts, from Black thinkers reflecting on idleness, anti-work, and recovery. Through montage, layering, and sonic collage, the work recontextualizes public statements to foreground a collective, relational imagination.
