Black Archives Sweden is a curatorial and artistic research practice by Jonelle Twum with interventions in places including Skånes Konstfö rening, Malmö Konsthall, Whose Museum, Moderna Museet Malmö, C/O Berlin, CIVA Brussels—in the form of curatorial programs, exhibitions, talks, presentations/lectures.
As a contemporary archive, Black Archives Sweden is centered around the experiences and narratives of Afro-Swedes and Black people in Sweden. Black Archives Sweden works to produce artworks and collect photographs, video and sound collections, letters, texts, oral histories, and ephemera, from a queerfeminist and diasporic perspective.
