Ernestina receives a cassette tape from her home country just after she arrives to Sweden with greetings and expectations about the new country. Ernestina listens to the tape again as she is unemployed as a result of COVID-19 and is moved between space and time. But what does time and migration do to our dreams and hopes? 

A Message to Ernestina is the final part of a trilogy on mothers, labor, and dreams. The film is projected to be done in the fall of 2025.
